The ACT Now co-ordinating group was created to enable a co-ordinated, cross-sector approach to monitor and deliver the ACT Now Plan and support climate action across North Lanarkshire. The group first convened in May 2021 and meet 6-8 weekly to share and review information on climate action within North Lanarkshire, identify opportunities for greater collaboration and share learning.

The co-ordinating group includes one nominated representative from each of the NLP partner organisations, a representative from the Community and Voluntary Sector’s Bio-Diversity and Climate Emergency Network, North Lanarkshire’s Youth Climate Ambassadors, New College Lanarkshire and Business Sector representatives.
